Recording a Plat
The Register of Deeds Office files all survey maps recorded in Haywood County. After proper approvals from the Haywood County Review Officer located in the Land Records Department and the Haywood County Planning Department if necessary, a mylar copy is filed in the Register of Deeds Office. The cost to record a plat is $21.00. Deeds can be searched on the web site by clicking the link "Search Deeds" on the left. All copies of survey plats recorded can be obtained for $2.00.
